We were pleased to welcome Inna Rudolf from the ICSR for a talk on the Popular Mobilisation Units (PMU) in Iraq and general implications of the situation in Iraq for regional and global risk.

• An evening with KPMG: top 2019 risks – 30/01/2019

A very popular event where we hosted two speakers from KPMG detailing what to expect in 2019: Brexit, Ukraine, the US etc…

Collaborations 

• IISS student engagement and networking event – 02/11/2018  

For the second year in a row, a delegation of KCL GPRIS members was invited to the IISS headquarters in London. Students were able to engage in thoughtful discussion about global affairs and meet researchers and analysts from the Institute.

• Discover careers in risk / in partnership with King’s Careers and Employability – 22/11/2018  

For the third consecutive year, KCL GPRIS hosted in partnership with King’s Careers a careers panel on the risk industry. A wide range of actors from different backgrounds all related to risk was represented.

• Eurasia Group London Office visit – 26/02/2019

A delegation of 20 GPRIS members was invited to Eurasia Group’s office in London for an afternoon of discussion with their analysts.
